The Athens on Ice 2022-2023 Season

Thought the winter fun was over? Athens on Ice public ice skating is returning OUTDOORS to the 440 Foundry Pavilion at The Classic Center.  Athens on Ice runs through February 26, so break out your skates and grab your friends and family to enjoy the season while it lasts!

As we skate through the season, here are some answers to our most common questions:

Do you offer group rates?

We do! Groups of 10 or more are eligible for a group discount. Simply select the group rate during checkout for the session of your choice.

Do I pay extra to rent skates?

No, admission includes the cost of the skate rental.  There is no discount if you bring your own skates.

Can I buy tickets from the ticket office when I arrive?

Great news, The Classic Center has gone mobile which makes tickets purchases a breeze!  Because of this, all tickets must be purchased online in advance.  Visit ClassicCenter.com/Tickets to reserve your space for the skate session of your choice and your mobile ticket will be emailed directly to your inbox for easy access.  With your mobile tickets in-hand, skip the Ticket Office and meet us on the ice!

Do kids skate free?

Due to capacity and safety concerns all skaters are required to purchase a ticket regardless or age, and proper footwear is required.  Toddler and youth skates are available on-site and seals can be rented at a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I come and just watch?

Absolutely!  We gladly welcome mom, dad, young siblings, grandma, grandpa, anyone!  There is no admission price for onlookers, simply let our friendly entry staff know you're there to watch and they will direct you to a seating area for observations.

I love to ice skate!  Do you offer season passes?

We do have season pass tickets available for just $125.00 per person.  Enjoy the magic of the holiday and have access to unlimited skating all season long.

What is Adult Public Skate?

Adult public skate is open skate available to guests ages 18 and up.

Do I have to sign a waiver for me or my children to skate?

Yes, there is a Safety Waiver that are to be signed by an adult prior to the skate session.  This form can be found here for easy completion prior to your session.

How can my organization volunteer?

Not-for-profits, school groups, and community groups can volunteer to work sessions at our skate counter and earn $1 per paid skater. Organizations must be able to submit a W-9 to receive payment. Email Foundation@ClassicCenter.com to learn more.
