The Athens Symphony Orchestra returns to The Classic Center for their beloved Christmas Performance on Saturday, December 11th at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 12th at 3:00 p.m.
The program for this performance features The Good Grief Trio, a jazz trio from Athens, GA. Members include Greg Hankins on piano, Luca Lombardi on bass, and Seth Hendershot on drums. Every year in Athens, the trio pays tribute to the great Vince Guaraldi and his timeless classic holiday album, “Merry Christmas Charlie Brown.” The members call on their talented pool of friends to join them on vocals as the Peanuts Choir.
The program will feature timeless classics like “The First Noel,” “Merry Christmas Charlie Brown,” and “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”
