(Athens, Ga) –The Classic Center unveiled its new logo, inspired by the stainless-steel structure, “Nest” by artist Maureen Kelly, hanging in the atrium of The Classic Center.
Kaptiv8, an Athens-based creative agency, designed the new visual identity. “We brought in our creative team and began talking about the vision of The Classic Center, not just where it is now, but really where it’s headed,” said Gabe Brauer, President, and Creative Director at Kaptiv8. “We tried to create something that could be recognizable and stand the test of time.”
The logo showcases the importance of art in all its forms while representing the three core values of hospitality, teamwork, and servant-style leadership, the foundation of The Classic Center’s unparalleled service.
“Art is centric to everything that we do, whether performing arts in the theatre, visual arts on the walls, or how we elevate hospitality to an art form," said Paul Cramer, President/CEO of The Classic Center.
“Although we are getting a new look at The Classic Center, our brand and core values will remain the same,” said Kylie Hutson, Director of Marketing. “Our purpose is to create great memories for all the guests that come through The Classic Center and ensure that they leave impressed while positively impacting the future of Athens.”
